SESSION 1
Faith Formation in Blended / Virtual Learning Settings
Parish programs have the opportunity to evangelize not only those attending faith formation, but also their parents and families through a blended or virtual setting. In this different "environment", prayer, worship, message, and community become as purposeful for the family as they are for the learner in a brick-and-mortar building.
Discover ways to translate brick-and-mortar faith formation experiences to blended or virtual ones for children, teens, and the entire family.

SESSION 2
"Oh, the Possibilities" -- Children's Catechesis Today
Oh, the Possibilities! As educators we are called to change how we teach to align with how students learn. Programs give us a starting place, and our imagination and creativity fill in the rest! The more tools we have, the more freedom we have to create a context and an experience that makes learning meaningful for both student and teacher. Tools within reach of all educators will be highlighted with the support of real life examples.
About Our Instructor
Mariette Martineau is the religious education and family life coordinator for the Kenora Catholic District School System in Kenora, ON; and author of Sowing Seeds: Inquiry, Faith and Early Learners, and Awe and Wonder: A Teacher’s Resource for Faith and Science.
